Jesse James Wax Museum announces EP release/farewell show and name change

RedSquareBeatLayout2Local favorite Jesse James Wax Museum has announced its EP release and farewell show. The band recently changed its name to simply JJWM to coincide with the changing style of the music. The band will no longer go by Jesse James Wax Museum but simply JJWM. More details on the show, EP and more on the flip side of this little link…

The band just uploaded 2 new tracks onto their MySpace called “Movies” and “Red Square Beat.” The EP release show will be on August 28 at Red Velvet Art (200 Commercial St. at the corner of Booneville and Commercial). Doors at 8pm. $5 gets you in, a copy of the EP and snacks (woot!). This event is also BYOB (minors, don’t even think about it). Also performing will be Todd Balisle (of the band Bootheel).

The show will also serve as a going away party for Trey George, singer of JJWM. He’s moving to Austin, TX. He says the band will live on though looking to continue writing and recording.
