Urban Legend: Now with a new hard drive. Game on, b****es.

You sure? It felt awfully close. No one messes with our Wednesdays, man...

We caught wind of an incident at a recent Urban Legend (formerly Platinum Social Club) show at The High Life Live Martini Lounge where DJ Platinum‘s laptop hard drive crashed and the show was canceled. Platinum, being the consummate professional that he is, duly worked his weekly gig at Zan later in the week without it; he played the whole night on the now-traditional turntables with crates of records and didn’t miss a beat. The task wouldn’t be so simple for the next Urban Legend gig, however, and Platinum replaced his hard drive and is now back in business. This may not be 100% new news, but we’ve had several questions about it and wanted to address the matter for the benefit of all the readers. Ladies and gentlemen, your hip hop-meets-live-instrument improvisational jam group lives on. Make your Wednesday-night plans accordingly.
