Add this to the breakups we didn’t see coming: Burnt Echoes has called it quits and has announced that its show at Nathan P. Murphy’s on April 11 will be its last. No official reason was given by the group. The band says on its blog that its members will continue to work on various musical projects, separately as well as with one another in some cases. In fact, it doesn’t rule out a reincarnation of Burnt Echoes with some new members somewhere down the road. However, the current incarnation is dead, or will be soon.
The final show will be shared with The Final Piece, Glass Bottom Boat Ride and Screwtape Letters. So… will BE get to headline now, since they won’t get another chance again?
