It certainly looks that way. The speed-bluegrass band (and Bloodshot Records labelmate of locals Ha Ha Tonka) Split Lip Rayfield is booked on Pollstar for September 11. Could this have to do with Ha Ha’s newfound label connections? We can’t be sure… but we can sit back and enjoy the benefits. This should be a huge show, given the following bluegrass has long had in Springfield. Hopefully it can result in similarly eclectic shows coming to town more in the future as well.
