As Springfield’s go-to site for all things local music, our goal in everything we do is to fortify the local music scene in some way. Right now we’re working on two weekend dates in October for concerts that will put local bands onstage with the same hoopla and fervor we put behind Blueprint and Cedric Burnside. The dates will book the Outland and Outland Ballroom for a night full of local bands upstairs and downstairs for one price. We can call bands to book for the show, but the truth is we want an enthusiastic bunch on the stage those night, so we’re putting the first step in your hands, local musicians.
