So Wayna at Bugsy Malone’s told us last night about a group that came in and tried to book a show with her last Friday. Nothing unusual… until we heard the name of the band.
When the name “Super String Theory” came up, we immediately did some digging–yes, at two in the morning–and discovered that the group is, indeed, playing shows again. The first date booked? July 25th at Nathan P. Murphy’s. Mark your calendars now. One of the best, most technically gifted rock bands in Springfield is back to tear the town’s face off with prog-rock power. Halle-frickin’-lujah. We’ll let you know if/when more dates turn up.
