The opening act for next Tuesday’s (7/15) Black Diamond Heavies show is McGIll. We can’t say it’s a surprise; McGill plays a lot of the Outland’s bigger shows. Here, though, it seems an especially good fit. It’s the right amount of rowdiness and amplification, that sort of hit-you-in-the-gut rock that the Heavies produce in the blues genre. Luckily, it’s just seven days away.
